Frenzy of February

Happy Valentines Day!   Katana got cards from both Grandparents and the McPhauls. 

Some with candy...some that smelled good...all just for her. 

For Relief Society we made FHE boards.  I got my wood early cuz I'm on the committee.   I used pintrest to help me figure out how to paint it.  I ended up antiquing it.--(white paint base you sand then stain to look rippled and old.) Vinyl Letters and mod-podge pictures to finish it.  I love it.  $20

Did somebody say Pintrest?  Oh ya me. It's my new favorite pass time.  I love looking up cool treats or craft ideas to keep Katana and myself entertained.  Newest fad....Yogart Dippin Dots. Super easy--Super yummy.  Instructions: Cut the very very tiny corner off a ziplock bag. squeeze little dollops on a pan--freeze--and eat. Katana likes sucking the leftover out of the bag like a go-gurt. 

Going to one of Preston's favorite pass times--old car/trucks. Accidently on Purpose he won a race car on auction.  Supposedly it has a $6,000 super engine and custom racer dash/ wheel....? There are plenty of Beaners in this area-- it's an investment.  total vehicular count 6--running 2....redneck?

Can't end without a photo gallery of Katana's new favorites.  She likes taking her picture--she poses--smiles and says "cheese".  My camera is now full of mom/baby face shots. 

 She would really like to be outside.  When weather permits we go for walks or play on the "wings". When it's too cold she likes to sock up as much sun as she can.  She'll curl up with a blanket or make a bed out of the coats by the window so content. 

We got a package with these horrible styrofoam noodles.  Katana had great fun.  I'm still having "fun" picking them up.  For the most part She's a big help. She loves doing what ever I do.  Cooking.  After getting burned a few times she understands and permits  me to take over when it's "hot".   but otherwise...   
She is very careful with measuring cups.  Time to fill the sugar/ flour bowl--best day ever.  She's been getting into my makeup drawer.  Preston found her primping the other day..."oh dear I don't think I'm ready for that!"

If it hadn't been for Syringa's recent comment on my last post I may have thought people had stopped looking at my blog all together.  McCarty's  comment when she stopped by last week was...."well I sometimes look at the pictures."   Well pictures may say a thousand words but if you had read my blog....really the side bar...you would see that it only takes a few words to get a million reactions.  
Honestly after 5 weeks I expected some response but If ya'll are like Cart I guess you need Visual Stimuli too.
