March-ing on

We are ready for Spring-warm weather.  So when we got a bright day we took advantage by going on a family outing to the Park and lunch.  Still lots of  winter clutter to get organized.  The "TO DO's" keep piling up.   Or get added to like Preston's  new project truck - a green BRONCO.

Mom's Spring Break they made a mad dash to see everyone.  We made the deal they wouldn't have to stop at our house if they took my older 2 with them.  That way everyone would get more time.  Mace and I would have time alone.  Win - Win. They had a blast visiting all the cousins.  Darlin's Dance recital - Muddy puddles - Golden corral chocolate fountain dipped strawberries - Skittles the Bird  and a treadmill accident at the Proctors were some of the highlights.
Stories:#1  Axel loved Trujillo and Charlotte's bird Skittles.  Finally Grandma said she'd have to spank him if he got the bird out again.  A little while later it's quiet--you know what that means. She finds Axel with the cage open.  The bird wasn't out.  His arm was in.   He was being "precisely" obedient.
#2  Sometimes my kids get grouped with older kids because of their size.  Axel and Holden only 3 months apart but with a 20 lb difference.  Holden pestered Axel till he pushed him down with one shove.   Ace took Holden aside to lend some advice  "Buddy you better be his friend cuz he's always going to be bigger than you."

Cousin Liz Kelly got married. Now we just have to focus on Carson.  Echo took some fun "profile pictures." nothing yet but we're hopeful.  Grandma Afton and Grandpa Jake visited my parents in Grandveiw for Dad's branding.  I got some keepsakes from Aunt Juanita's Facebook page.

Stinky's and Trafalga

At Auction we won the contents of a home. This is our second go. It was bad. We nicknamed it Stinky's house.  Got someone to watch the kids for 2 days while we waded threw it.  A tiny apartment that reminded me of Maces chair at the end of the day.  The guy ate, pissed , smoked and slept on the same bed in the living room for the last 15 years.  Not a total bust because of the shear volume of stuff. TV's, 5-6 Desks, laptop, fridge, microwave, 10 phones. 50 Suit coats, Armani shoes.  The guy had to have been in the Russian mafia in his past life. Easy $800 profit in the first day with loose cash we found.  Like his stripper stash of $150 in ones behind the garlic in the kitchen.  Preston says " Is it weird we bond like this. We both like digging threw other peoples stuff. "

Syringa and Greg are getting really close to moving in to their new house. We made a weekend trip to visit.  Help hang Doors.  (When they took down doors to paint they didn't get marked and they were not universal. each door only fit one frame. one way. HUGE PAIN)  Move boxes.  Preston did some electrical.  And we used our passes for the first time at Trafalga fun center. Katana wanted to do the rock wall and surprised everyone by making it to the top.  Axel made it about halfway up but then wasn't heavy enough to fall down. Wasn't thrilled about being stuck.  Syringa attended a Community yard sale just for me. We just got a few things. HE HE HE.   Kids loved the Mud and dirt and the best part was NO washing machine.  Packing up I threw a wad of... I think they were socks away.
