Cool Bugs, new puppy, kittens and ponies..We are blessed. September went by very fast with school starting and summer coming to a close. I thought being alone I would be washing baseboards and have everything organized week one. Week two I would be completing all those "put away" projects. Nearly 6 weeks of being a "pre-empty nester" and I'm busier than ever with the same ol' dishes, laundry, quick pick up. Zara as young as she is; was a tremendous help with all the "little" cleaning things. Doing it solo now takes forever. I did make an effort to go to the temple. Because I can. I love the changes, the shortened time and the opportunity. Zara gave a solo talk in primary. Mace did his first STEM project. The bottle rocket. He was a little disappointed at its distance but it did do a cool loop-de-loop. Axel had a graduating primary birthday party in lieu of an activity days. They played a few minute to win it games, dress up relay race and a play on mother-may-I called Ships & Sailors they learned at 4 H camp. I went on Axel's field trip to Glanbia and City of Rocks. I had to drive myself behind the bus so wasn't' going to go but Axel really wanted me there. I'm glad I went for him. The wolf pelt was surprisingly large. I hope never to encounter one in the wild. A crash on Bob Barton lent some entertainment one day. I helped Preston change the starter on the expo. Hours of contorting our limbs and pinching fingers to get at the bolts. Finally we fashioned a "franken-wrench". Lets just say working together does not always bring us closer.
