Jump into January

Happy New Year 2023. Church was soooo early at 11:30.  LOL.  I forgot kids move up at the first of the year.  Katana is now in YW.  She had her bishop interview after church to get her personal limited use temple recommend. I think it helps them remember their convents and be worthy of it. Get use to having one.  I am so proud of her and can't wait to serve in the house of the Lord with her.   Watched Ralayna compete in Dixies got Talent.  It was rigged since 40% of their score was from the money raised by people voting you on.  Each vote cost min of $10. She had tightfisted fans but for singers she was far and above.   Zaras stitches are healing fast.  My VacMop wasn't sucking. Got a new roller and filter and WALA it works.  Temu is my new addiction. "cheap communist Chinese crap" Preston calls it.  But so far it's been pretty good quality, closer to American sizes and half the price of Amazon for the same stuff. You have to wait like 2 weeks but that's fine for me.  Got the first pour for our shower floor.

Echo set up a surprise party for JDs 40th in Shelly.  Finger foods and a few group games.  Stopped at Big Deal Outlet in Pocatello.  I have been searching for a small cute fluffy dog off and on since before we got cookie. I found the kind I wanted for the unheard of price $300.  I have debated for 2 months. I thought they'd be gone but on the way home I decided to go for it. She had 2 left. So kind of on a spur of the moment we stopped outside Burley to pick up... PIP the chocolate chip Shihpoo.

On the 28th we had a new pump put in on our well.  It's been having problems tripping.  A little while later Preston comes running in. "their truck just blew up".   A heater in the cab used to warm up tape shorted out and started on fire.  They were able to grab a few tool bags on the seat but within a few minutes the whole cab was in flames.   We watched from the bedroom door.  Even from the house the heat was impressive.  The tires blew with a hiss and boom.  The horn shorted out and start beeping. Of course we were helpless. WE HAVE NO WATER. Preston was running around trying to move our stuff further away.   We just prayed nothing else would catch.  Thankfully we had emergency water cuz it took another day to clear off the wreckage and get another company to step in.  NO water so we ate out and decided to use our Christmas gift from my parents. Gift card to LAZER MAINIA.  We played 3 rounds of lazer tag, glow in the dark golf and arcade games. It was a blast.
