Hop Hop Hoppy Easter. Made a wreath from tree trimmings. My creative juices got flowing after we did a DIY Pintrest inspired Upcycled activity for Young Womens. I made Katana a jewelry / necklace holder. She also got a fish to fill her Teddy bear. The first one died. "mom go to town get new one" that was that. I put it in a bag with the date and froze it -- sent it in Preston's lunch box the next Monday...by the time he got to Walmart and flopped a thawed fish on the counter... Well we got a new one named Blue and he's doing great.
Coloring eggs is more fun for me then anyone. I try to drag it out with Crayons, markers, stickers, multi-colored eggs and lastly tie-died napkins. Preston does one solid of each color and is good till the next year. All in all did about 3 dozen.
Marc and Pam came to visit. Took us to Breakfast before the big Egg Hunt at McGinnis Park. over 3000 eggs in 4 age groups. Katana was 0-3. on the baseball diamond. From the word "Go" to Going home took maybe 2 min. and that's just cuz they have little legs walking back to the starting line. It was complete mayhem. complete blast too. Katana got 6 eggs but dropped one for Axel to get. She was so excited. Notice her outfit too. it's her "crazy shirt" and Easter leggings. and yes she dressed herself.
Katana loves airplane rides. She is also conscientious of her brothers needs and wants him to feel included. Preston is good enough / strong enough to oblige.
