Baptism & Blessing

A photo shoot for Birthday, Baptism and Blessing day was the first step.   Zara's dress is an old wedding dress I found at a yard sale Pam helped turn into a blessing dress. Then as I listened to my old EFY CD I re-found the song  "What Heaven sees in you".  It resonated with me and I got this crazy idea to do a slideshow with it.  Katana got to pick her entire program. She wanted to sing but was nervous to do it alone so the boys did it with her.  I was impressed even little Mace learned the words. The day of they were resurfacing the church parking lot.  Other than that everything went off without a hitch.  lots of family and friends to support us.  Afterwards we had a BBQ at our house.  Katana's baptism was beautiful.  She was so excited and happy and absolutely glowing. I'm so proud of her. 

Boat'N , Babies & Big Eyes

Home from the Wedding for 4 days. Time to quick clean the house, unpack, repack and head to Grandview for a weekend of boating, baby photo shoots, and Fake eye lashes.  Parents got a new couch tube. 5 seats. Rides really smooth. I think the little kids just like playing at the beach. Syringa and I got to knee board.   Denim has been begging to try fake eyelashes. Mom had her little friend who wears them every day show us how it's done. She was kind enough to help put them on all of us. Katana was so funny batting her eyes. Sent a fuzzy text picture to Preston. "NO she is too little to look so grown up.!" Reminded myself of Medusa on Rescuers taking them off.   Before I left Friday there was a HUGE water balloon fight. I thought I was protected  on the porch holding the camera and a baby but No.  Everyone got wet. No not wet. SOAKED! And everyone had a blast.
