Cards and some LONG ACE Brag Letters.

It’s crazy how fast this year went. Life has its challenges, but we feel so blessed in our current situation. We love Wendell. Summer on our “farm” was so fun. We had a big garden. The kids loved the tomatoes. Had a milking goat and 3 babies (sold all but one), Cat and 6 kittens (road ate 4), Sammy dog, Bonny horse, and Blue fish. Got a swing set and combine tires set up in the yard. Katana knows the 1st article of Faith, can quote the entire monolog from ‘Frozen’. Loves Daniel tiger, Nursery class, cooking, dress up, and corn dogs. She says the darndest things. Really keeps me on my toes. Three going on 13. Axel is a happy chill kid. At just over a year he weighs only 5 lbs less than Katana. He learned to walk and does his best to keep up with his sister. They are true siblings….best friends and best enemy’s. Preston and I took a vacation to Oregon and Washington. No kids was awesome! Preston has a stable job at Jerome Cheese as an Electrician which we are thankful for. I’m blessed to be able to stay home and raise our beautiful children. I love being a mommy and wife. We’re all just trying and doing our best. We wish all of you a healthy, happy 2015.
Love the Kelly’s: Preston, Sierra, Katana and Axel

Dear Family and Friends, We have a lot to be grateful for this year. On June 27, we were sealed in the Mt. Timpanogos temple and began our eternal family. We have had a happy start to our marriage. We were able to hold open houses with Erin’s family in Washington and Kevin’s family in Virginia.  Kevin is finishing his degree in microbiology at BYU and will graduate in April. He’s also working in a research lab at BYU, helping perfect a device that will be used in gene therapy. Erin is working as a copywriter for a web marketing company called Boostability. She self-published her first young adult novel, Walls.  We love all of you and invite you to stay in touch via email or other means. We are especially grateful for the Savior and His sacrifice that brings us peace, love, and joy throughout the year. Merry Christmas!  Love,  Kevin and Erin Price  860 W 400 S #1 Provo, UT 84601

Christmas in Grandview

We met up at Mom and Dads for the weekend.  Dad set up a big Hunting tent with a stove to sleep in.  When they called to tell us about it Mom said "only big kids can sleep in the tent with us."  She meant no boob babies or parents but my little Katana took it as "no diapers".  She asked for panties at bedtime and was instantly night potty trained. She just needed some motivation.  I'm so proud.

Gift exchange was Friday night.  Trujillo's Family was in charge of picking out Mom and Dad's gift.  Charlotte made a blanket collage of all the kids and grand kids with Mom and Dad. "All Because Two People Fell In Love." It was awesome.    Then Mom and Dad's big gift to us was Lazy One "Deeriaire" butt flap pajamas.  THEY ARE SO AWESOME.  Brenden said "I've always wanted a pair just to see how they work"  Remarkably well actually---once you get the hang of it. We all put them on for pictures and presents and most of us kept them on for the next 4 days.

We did not lack on food.  Chicken cord-on Bleu, Cafe Rio Salad, Saturday was a BLOW OUT BREAKFAST.  Eggs, pancakes, hash browns, muffins, bacon, sausage, fresh grape juice.  Everyone brought their leftover Christmas Candy and creamers for hot coco. Games, competitions and tournaments were held around the clock.  The T.V. was only turned on once for Home Videos on Sunday Evening.  We had visits from the Sarah Hatch family and a few of the Amy Crew (Grandma Afton, Grandpa Jake, Loretta and Girls, Delwin, Tina, Charlie and his significant other Christina.) With this many people things never slowed down.  It was Full Throttle Fun till the End. A Perfect Ending to a Wonderful Year.

Christmas in Wendell

Preston the Grinch insisted Christmas wouldn't start till the 15th. Thankfully he got peer pressured into getting a tree after we visited some friends whose tradtion is to set up their tree the day after thanksgiving.  Starting 24 /7 Christmas music was still too much for him but by the 5th we were holly and lights and pine. Yeah!!!  The kids dressed as Angels and watched Frosty every morning.

We did a 12 days of Christmas advent thing where every night we did some activity or watched chirstmas clips.  The big ones were:  South Hill lights, Lights to music in Jerome, Caroling to Neighbors, Christmas photo shoot and Ward party.  Christmas Eve the kids got to sleep in our room in "the tent".

Christmas in Wendell came without Snow.
It came without sleigh rides or hayrides Oh Woe.
It came just the same and what a chirstmas it was.
I'd say quilts, bed and mittens created the biggest buzz.

Ok so i'm not a poet.  but Christmas was fun.  Katana knew what was going on and was so cute. Axel did not but was happy to be included. He would OOO and AWWW after each gift was opened.

Deep December

Pam orders chicken every year from a lady in Arco. Group discount deal. I ran out last year so I got 2 boxes. Then Smiths had a killer sale and I got 2 more. But we didn't have the freezer space. So I borrowed 2 canners and we canned and canned and canned. Katana was a huge help.  I cut and she stuffed. Did 80 lbs in 2 days. about 40 pints and 21 quarts. Froze another 80 lbs. WOW. what good food storage.

Preston tweaked his back at work.  The kids had a blast trying to pop  it back in.  The kids AKA Katana also have had a blast drawing on my walls. it started in the construction room so we didn't really care. Then it migrated; behind the couch, corner of the dinning room, front room wall and washer. Now I care. Permanent BLACK and RED sharpie. I've tried everything and all the scrubbing in the world only dulls the effect. Regardless I made them sit and scrub each project for 5 min. (Can you pick out her drawings of Bonny, Teddy, Frosty & Olaf. )
