Thanksgiving

Kelly's Year for Thanksgiving. Marc built a straw maze again.  The kids played tag, hide and seek and house for hours. The Dads turned into little boys 'double dog daring' each other to jump the gap. The Moms took the opportunity to organize a family photo shoot.  Carson and Jamie took advantage of the extra hands to preg test their heard.  Pam thought it was a good idea to dip chocolates with 12 kiddos as helpers.  And JD's activity was soda bombs. Put it together and what have you got? A fantastic family festivity.  *With no major blow ups it was truly historical.

Girl Party VS Boys Night Out.

Amy Girl Party was at Brookes house. Mom was able to come this year.  We started with a super fun party game.  Unwrap a gift with oven mitts before the next person rolls doubles. Aunt Juanita finally got fed up and punched a hole through the box.   Brooke shared a  beautiful devotional which likened the  game of Red Rover to  staying connected and strong as a family by relying on the combined strength of others and God.  This was followed by mud masks and pedicures.  The next day some people got up early to go spinning. I was NOT one of them.  Then we set up a sweat shop in the living room to finish Addie's graduation Levi quilt.   Some people took a 3 hour intermission to walk around a craft fair.  I was NOT one of them.  Katana and I stayed one more night to attend church with Brooke and watch her kids in their Primary Program.  Preston had the boys for the weekend. He also had scout camp at Balanced Rock.  I was half expecting to go rescue them the whole time,  but when we got home it was all smiles. We both had big story to tell.  The older boys had been great examples and befriended Axel and Mace.  Gunner Hester and Josh Green are their new heroes. I was pleased they have good role models in the ward.

BSU VS BYU VS .22

Dad won BYU vs BSU tickets from the Simplot Lottery and for Preston's Birthday invited us along.  It was Super fun.  Not to cold.  Great atmosphere. Lots of energy. Exciting close game. Good seats center field high up to see the whole field.  Good experience.

Blazen has been driving his parents crazy wanting to go hunting. Dad just happened to have a depredation elk tag that expired at the end of the month. Had his parents not flew him down I'm pretty sure Blazen would have walked.   Oh the mighty hunter.  Elk,  Coyote, Jackrabbit, etc.
* Grandpa built Grandma a brilliant new chicken house.  Dropped hay from above not wasted.
*a bull got it's head stuck in a tree and they couldn't get it out. Had to cut down the tree.  LOL
