WMS got a grant for some extra curricular clubs. Katana joined a 6 week Color Guard club and loved it. They performed at the end of year band concert. I'm gearing up for spring with a new garden spot in the front yard and raised tire boxes. So far so good. Zara took advantage of a warm day and sprinkler runoff to play in the mud. Katana also participated in the NOVA program. Similar to DARE only more. The weekend of the 18th saw us in Boise. Even with all the end of year stuff I wasn't about to miss the "BIggest Yard Sale in IDaho" We'd talked it up enough even Brenden was interested in going. Axel was one of the top Recorder Karate earners in his grade. It was fun to watch his 4th grade farewell song/dance performances. Katana did a book report presentation on her Heros. she chose her parents. it was a fun honor and surprise. The last day of school is a bitter sweet ending- a relief.

One of those sweet miracles to usher in the summer was the duck eggs we got from Carts hatched. They are so cute, friendlier and calmer than chicks too. We headed to arco for a quick weekend. Preston helped JoAnn Hoover put in a new service. He also assisted with adjustments to his folks pivot. Axel and Mace got to spend a few days with Grandpa Calvin helping set up boys camp and with some projects around the house and at Clyde. They had a blast working almost as hard as they played. When we picked them up we had a trip down memory lane with pictures and artifacts they found while cleaning up Gpa Jake/Gma Aftons property.
