ThanksGiving

THANKSGIVING!!!    Syringa and McCarty came to watch the kids  while I had my last OB appointment. Cleared for travel we crammed in the van and headed to Grandview. Most of us were able to come a few days early.  Getting in as much sibling/ cousin time as possible.  Cart is starting to show and glows.   By the time everyone arrived the house was filled to bursting.  At meals we crowded the kitchen.  Wanting to help, clean up, dish food for the kids.  We were "Mom's little helpers" again I'm sure.  I loved it.

Grandma Afton, Grandpa Jake, Loretta and girls and the Nefs were able to join us for dinner.  Mom rented the Elementary school gym.  It was perfect for our ever growing crew.  Serving area. Kitchen to keep things warm.  Wiggle cars and toys for the kids. Basketball.  The kids entertained each other leaving the adults open for Games and Gab. We played a lot of ticket to ride this week. It was nice just to listen to all the chatter.

The Final Activity for this fun food filled day was a baby shower for McCarty's baby boy ( Baler ) .   Charlotte did the treats.   Timber decorations.  Syringa games.    We went together for a Swing.  Mom made her cowboy receiving blankets.  Marci sent  a blessing suit and blanket made by his great grandmother that Brenden used as a baby.  Very sentimental.   I have been looking forward to Thanksgiving for Months.  Mom was really hoping I'd have the baby during the festivities.  I'm glad I was able to make it through the whole thing. But now I'm ready for him to be out. I'm done being pregnant.

Falls End

The Church has trees that were too perfect not to play in.  Preston even brought a rake so we could have fun playing in the leaves.

Random happenings. * Finishing up the demo in the Landry room/ back porch and getting shelves up.  Love the space.   *Axel got his first black eye.  Got bucked off his stick horse and hit an open dresser drawer. Ouch. *And some quick family photos.  Can't wait for the holidays and the arrival of #3.

ARRR Holloween

I love the start of Fall, Holidays boom boom boom. candy, family.  October seemed to fly by. Brooke and I hit the Corn maze and Pumpkin patch near Filer to get into the mood.  The Owner let the kids pick some Indian corn. I'm gonna plant some next year. Unwrapping the "rainbow" corn was Katana's favorite part of the outing.  Back at the house the kids painted their small pumpkins. Never done that before. So fun for the kids.  We didn't get around to carving our pumpkins till week before Halloween. Usually I have Jack-O-Lanterns lit on the first.  love it .

Not sure what I'm going to do next year when Timbers costume box runs out.   This year we were the cast of Peter Pan.   I was going to be Wendy but Preston didn't fit the Hook coat.  He made a fabulous Smee. We are so cute.  Trunk-OR-Treat at the park then a few blocks Ol'school door to door and home.  Got a few good ideas from our friends the Dimonds and a must do in a few years from the Lyon family.   HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!!!1
