ThanksGiving

THANKSGIVING!!!    Syringa and McCarty came to watch the kids  while I had my last OB appointment. Cleared for travel we crammed in the van and headed to Grandview. Most of us were able to come a few days early.  Getting in as much sibling/ cousin time as possible.  Cart is starting to show and glows.   By the time everyone arrived the house was filled to bursting.  At meals we crowded the kitchen.  Wanting to help, clean up, dish food for the kids.  We were "Mom's little helpers" again I'm sure.  I loved it.

  Grandma Afton, Grandpa Jake, Loretta and girls and the Nefs were able to join us for dinner.  Mom rented the Elementary school gym.  It was perfect for our ever growing crew.  Serving area. Kitchen to keep things warm.  Wiggle cars and toys for the kids. Basketball.  The kids entertained each other leaving the adults open for Games and Gab. We played a lot of ticket to ride this week. It was nice just to listen to all the chatter. 

The Final Activity for this fun food filled day was a baby shower for McCarty's baby boy ( Baler ) .   Charlotte did the treats.   Timber decorations.  Syringa games.    We went together for a Swing.  Mom made her cowboy receiving blankets.  Marci sent  a blessing suit and blanket made by his great grandmother that Brenden used as a baby.  Very sentimental.   I have been looking forward to Thanksgiving for Months.  Mom was really hoping I'd have the baby during the festivities.  I'm glad I was able to make it through the whole thing. But now I'm ready for him to be out. I'm done being pregnant.
