March-ing on

We are ready for Spring-warm weather.  So when we got a bright day we took advantage by going on a family outing to the Park and lunch.  Still lots of  winter clutter to get organized.  The "TO DO's" keep piling up.   Or get added to like Preston's  new project truck - a green BRONCO.

Mom's Spring Break they made a mad dash to see everyone.  We made the deal they wouldn't have to stop at our house if they took my older 2 with them.  That way everyone would get more time.  Mace and I would have time alone.  Win - Win. They had a blast visiting all the cousins.  Darlin's Dance recital - Muddy puddles - Golden corral chocolate fountain dipped strawberries - Skittles the Bird  and a treadmill accident at the Proctors were some of the highlights.
Stories:#1  Axel loved Trujillo and Charlotte's bird Skittles.  Finally Grandma said she'd have to spank him if he got the bird out again.  A little while later it's quiet--you know what that means. She finds Axel with the cage open.  The bird wasn't out.  His arm was in.   He was being "precisely" obedient.
#2  Sometimes my kids get grouped with older kids because of their size.  Axel and Holden only 3 months apart but with a 20 lb difference.  Holden pestered Axel till he pushed him down with one shove.   Ace took Holden aside to lend some advice  "Buddy you better be his friend cuz he's always going to be bigger than you."

Cousin Liz Kelly got married. Now we just have to focus on Carson.  Echo took some fun "profile pictures." nothing yet but we're hopeful.  Grandma Afton and Grandpa Jake visited my parents in Grandveiw for Dad's branding.  I got some keepsakes from Aunt Juanita's Facebook page.
