Alaskan PostCards

Mom and Dad went on a cruise to Alaska.  Mom always wanted to go to Hawaii and Dad  always wanted  Alaska.  They've been to both now.  Where to now? They were super thoughtful and sent all the grandkids postcards during their trip.  Katana loves to get the mail so when it was for her she was ecstatic   Packed them around all week.

There were 2 passes during the gold rush Chilkoot and White pass.  They killed over 3000 horses in one year on the White pass. Tonight it was raining we went in the hot tub raining on us--big outdoor movie screen --glaciers on both sides of boat us in hot tub --that was our (best) memory.

Last night there were 3 men in kilts. They looked awesome. A lot of Asian and Brit people. Watched an illusionist Landon Swank from Americans got talent. Saw a lot of glaciers in Glacier Bay. Only 2 ships a day are aloud in Glacier Bay. 

Our room has a balcony so we have a beautiful view of land and water. We went Salmon fishing and each reeled in 2 fish.  We have had gorgeous weather so far. Love Grandpa & Grandma.

We were going to go up this tram but it was raining and fogged in. There were 5 different boats in port. Juneau and Ketchan had Walmarts. A shuttle was here just to go to walmart.
