Here Here Comes the New Year

Jerome Cheese held their company Christmas party at canyon crest event center in Twin on the 3rd.  Instead of a Christmas bonuses they give all the employees a ham/turkey and an open bar at the party.   200 plus people.  Dinner, raffle ticket drawings, photo booth, cheese samples, dance, and free dibs on the decor. It was actually really fun. 

*I got a dozen 'mock-tails' my favorite was a blend of pineapple, orange, lemon and soda. co-worker Darek nicknamed it 'canoodling on the beach' cuz it was reminiscent of the actual drink 'sex on the beach' only as a virgin mix. I thought it was funny.  Also I ordered chocolate milk once.  They didn't have it but about 15 min later I got one at my table. I'm pretty sure they ran across the street to Walmart and got me a moo milk.  Hey every glass is money --my chocolate milk $1.25 logged as a cheap shot $2.75. I was good for business. 

On the 10th we celebrated 5 yrs. of marital bliss. Did you know the 5th year's gift is Wood? Preston "oh then I'm good"  We went to dinner and the 3D showing of the Hobbit #2.  Both very good. Can't believe years pass so fast in a seemingly short amount of time. We've had Crazy highs and Crushing lows but we are "Forever, Always and No Matter What"  I love you Babe.

Katana got into my makeup. Kind of scared me at first cuz I thought she looked like the Joker from Bat Man.   Not that we need them but we had a craft day and made hair bows and clips. Also made peanut butter balls which Katana and her dad snitched before dinner. She's starting to be sneaky.  Holds stuff behind her back, climbs into things she shouldn't.... like I don't know...GUILTY  is written all over her face. 

She got a boat 'aka sled' for Christmas.  Pulled Axel and her toys around the house till Preston took it to the garage waiting for snow.  Finally got a skiff of white stuff that lasted 12 hours. 45 min. of which she road in her boat. (me being the motor and out of shape and no hills near by and hubby at work and thankfully she got cold.)

She woke up the other day asking for Popcorn for breakfast. I said no it wasn't breakfast food.  I made oatmeal and she proceeded to make popcorn all by herself. She got stuck a few times. The lid wouldn't go on, the popcorn bucket was too heavy,  half the kernels missed the opening, a few jumped out premature and she got burnt throwing them back.  Still I didn't help. She was so proud when it was said and done.  I was pretty proud too to be honest. 

Kelly's dog had puppies and we got one. JD and Family brought him up. She was oober excited.  All week she asked about her puppy. Ours is actually the grey and white one. She named it Sammy.  Duke means little dog.  Sammy is the Kellys dog and it's big. We're real original when it comes to naming animals at our house. 

Had a visit from Dan and Family. Clara has bright piercing blue eyes and is as cute as ever.  Katana started to differentiate Dallin and Westen not just "the boys" as as she and Westen really hit it off. 

I am so excited for this year. Preston is Cub Master and I am YW Secretary and our kids are awesome. Katana is 33 lbs , mischievous, smart, creative, loving, says the darndest things.    Axel is 18Lbs can roll both ways, smiles, giggles, bright eyed and soooooo kissable.  I love it.
