Ode to October

I have loved this fall.  We got a swing set on craigslist.  With the tires we have our own park in the back yard.

Kelly's came to visit. Axel grabbed Grandpa's hat and glasses. Katana cracked up "you papa".  Harvest time across the street.  We were able to glean the potato fields. It was like a treasure hunt for the kids. And a huge blessing for us for winter.

Another blessing is my amazing husband. He turned 28 this year. We went to dinner at Elevation 486 a fancy restaurant on the canyon rim.  Spectacular view and NO Dishes.  NO Kids. NO Curfew.  Happy Birthday Honey.
P.S. thanks for the cards. He say "star wars music rocks...hubby remote. needed."

Katana makes me smile the things she comes up with.  Like tonight.  She gets a pool noodle, crayons and her tools.  We were confused what she was doing. "hold this--I'm fixing it--don't worry"  Then "MOM I made a rainbow."  The other day I go to make dinner and hear a noise in the oven. I open it and take out a tray of golf balls.  Did you know they will explode if preheated to 350 Degrees. New rule:  No playing in Mommy's oven.  A hard rule to implement because the kids love to help me cook. Besides making a mess is half the fun.
