Remember the "burning bush" incident? well the tree didn't recover this year. Preston hates pines anyway so down it came. We used a tree service. They did 2 trees and 2 stumps in under 2 hours. Raked the yard and we got firewood and a pile of wood shavings. Impressive.
Construction continues. Got a new metal sink in the kitchen looks much better. Axel is learning some tricks of the trade. Katana made up a new game called. Scrap sheet rock sword fighting. and the kids finally got a bath in their room. Slowly but Surely.
Got 15 baby chicks. Axel loved one (to death) the first day. oops. I let him pack it around for the next 20 min. instead of killing another. I felt horrible. It reminded me of the retard on Dumb and Dumber. "pretty birdie" For the next 3 weeks Axel got dibs on Girl kitty so Katana could sneek to the back porch to play with the birds. I cleaned out one of the stalls in the shed and moved them outside when they were big enough.
Ax man is quite the entertainer. He loves to joke around and make you laugh. The suction cup is one of his favorite dinner performances. The potty on the other hand is not on his list of tricks to master. In fact I think Girl is further along than my son.
