Rhett totally freaked out at the T-Rex world dinosaur exhibit at the Twin Falls Fair grounds. Brooke didn't even get through the door. Sad for them good for us as we got their complimentary tickets. Katana was a little nervous to start. The first exhibit is 2 huge 12 ft. moving and sound T-Rex attacking a Pteranodon nest. 3 buildings full of Dinosaur sounds, displays, replicas, info charts, kids picture props, discovery movies and more. Outside was a lawn full of Dino theme bounce houses. $5 well spent. and a walking dinosaur that ate bones and children!
Axel got a hold of some sharpies....again. This time it was the counter he drew on. I made him scrub for a solid 10 min. Katana adamantly refused to help and choose instead to sit on her naughty bucket for the duration of time. Ok. Axel Idolizes his sister. He does everything she does. From tantrums, to prayers, to potty time. Katana of course eats it up. Especially now she has a handsome prince to boss around during dress up.
Our Cat "Girl" finally had her babies. It just had to be during nap time and under the kids bed but hey beggars can't be choosers. By the end of the day we had 7 black, grey and multi colored babies.
At chick days this spring we got 15 birds on the 89 cent straight run sale. Mostly roosters that now need killing. Guess who gets that fun job 5 months prego. And guess who gets to be Mommies lucky little helpers. They did pretty good till the head came off and the bucket tipped over as they tried to put it in. So they let go and ran. It was quite funny. I'm running threw the 10 foot Kochia trying to grab a headless fowl before Sammy does. Kids cheering me on from the porch. Country living is not for the faint of heart. and lastly Katana loves to sneak away my camera. Mostly I just delete the 50 pictures of her finger or nosterals. Once in a while she captures a few ok ones.
