Christmas Cards

2015 was a Marathon. Gone nearly every weekend from May to December to events such as: 3 Family reunions, 2 baby blessings, 2 baptisms, a few weddings, branding, boating, camping and a family stay-cation to our state capital. As hectic as the year was our “Christmas letter” is actually late on purpose. Twas waiting on the culminating event of this Crazy year --The birth of our 3rd child. Mace McKy Kelly Dec. 2nd – 8 lbs 10 oz – 21 ½ inch. A Healthy eating, sleeping and pooping machine. Axel (2) could not be more thrilled. He loves all things little. Our Solid little man with a heart of gold. He likes to make noise; especially roaring like a dinosaur. He's Happy and active. Having not grown up with little boys he is a fun adventure for me as a Mom. Katana is Sassy yet sensitive. Her blossoming female emotions are so “fun” to deal with. I can't wait till she's actually a teenager (READ WITH COPIUS AMOUNTS OF SARCASUM). She can spell her name, recognize her families names, the Big letters in the Alphabet and working on lowercase and numbers. Honestly she's a huge help; sometimes I forget she's only 4. Smart and Beautiful. My shadow and Friend.  Preston is back with Freedom Electric working construction and loving the diversity. On his own time he's rebuilding some old trucks and continuing construction on the house. I am adjusting to 3 kids. I can tell it's going to be challenging but I'm ready. This year holds such promise. I hope you all feel rejuvenated and ready to start something in 2016.

Brenden & I (McCarty) will celebrate our fourth anniversary in February and a lot has happened in four years. In March we will welcome our first little boy to the family. In 2014 I got my Associates in General Studies. This May, Brenden graduated with his Bachelors in Business Administration. Brenden took an internship with Sherwin-Williams which turned into a job that moved us to Idaho Falls for training. Brenden then accepted a job at the McCall, Idaho Sherwin-William where he worked as an assistant manager and is now the Manager.Wishing you a Merry Christmas and a bright New Year, The Hatfield's
Dear Family and Friends,
We’re emailing our Christmas card again this year because it’s just so much easier! We hope you are all doing well and that despite the crazy world we live in, you can feel the peace and hope that comes from trusting in God.
We mistakenly thought that this year would be less chaotic than last year. Nope! This year Kevin was accepted as a medical student at Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA, and we made a grand cross-country move with 1 moving truck, 2 cars, and 4 people (Kevin’s mom and cousin helped out). Although we miss our family and friends in Utah, we love Virginia. We have met some amazing people, marveled at the beautiful natural wonders here, and enjoyed visiting many historical sites.
We feel blessed that Kevin was accepted to Liberty. It is a Christian university with good values and we love the people and the atmosphere. Medical school is busy but Kevin is doing well and enjoying the experience. Presidential candidate Ben Carson recently visited and toured the school.
Erin has been able to support the family financially by working as a freelance writer (which has always been a dream of hers). She writes blogs and websites for the company she worked for previously, and has also started blogging for LDS Boutique. She had one story published in the Friend and will have another published soon. Erin has also kept busy teaching piano lessons, serving as the Relief Society activity coordinator at church, and working with the student spouse association at the school.
Unfortunately, this year we lost Kevin’s grandpa, grandma, and sister. After being cancer free for about ten years, Kevin’s sister Kristine was again diagnosed with osteosarcoma in August 2014 and passed away in March 2015. Having faith in God’s plan has given us comfort, but the experience has still been difficult for Kevin’s family. We’re grateful that we live a few hours from Kevin’s parents and are able to visit them about once a month.
While life is never easy, we feel like God has blessed us in so many ways and put us right where we need to be right now. We hope you have a wonderful year.  LOVE, Kevin and Erin Price

Merry Christmas and may you have a Very Happy New Year 2016! We are so thankful for all our wonderful friends and family. This has been a prosperous year for the Kelly family. We now have an even dozen grandkids (angels). We are still employed (Idaho Treatment Group), still running the farm and caring for the beef cattle, chickens, horses, etc. Marc is the Physical Facilities guy for the church house and I am serving as the primary chorister and the Advancement chair for the scouts in our unit. We are staying busy, mostly chasing the grandkids and keeping up with the farm.
JD and Echo now have 5 of those precious angels: Jade-8, Lane-6, KyLin-4, Hattie-2, and McKayla-8mo. They live in Woodville on a little farm of their own, with animals and chores and plenty to do, and are working on their home to make it fit their needs and desires.
Dan and Malena have 4 precious angels: Dallin-4, Weston-4, Clara-2, and little McKenna-7mo. They live in Moore in a nice place that they have added to and painted to make it their home. It’s nice to have them close and see them often.
Preston and Sierra have 3 precious angels: Katana-4, Axel-2, and brand new Mace-not quite a month. They live in Wendell and have their hands full remodeling their home to make it what they want and keep up with their animals and kids as well.
Carson has just graduated from BYUI with a degree in Animal Science and is getting ready to strike out on his own. Marc and I are really hoping he’ll stick around and help calve out the cows this coming January. He’s just darn good help and nice to have around.
We have truly been blessed with good health and great family and friends and we love this little valley that we live in and enjoy. Life is good and we hope this greeting finds you and yours happy and well. MERRY CHRISTMAS and thanks for being there for us,
