Fun fact:The crescent moon cutout and the star cutout on the door of many outhouses goes back to Colonial times. In a time when few people could read, the crescent moon was the symbol for women while the star cutout was for men.
Inspired by Timber's girls Kool-aid dyed hair. I had Mom help me Splat dye my hair BLUE and using Kool-aid stained Katana's Purple--looks more auburn. Just for fun. But I thought some members of my family (McCarty) was going to disown me.
Home again Home again Jiggity-Jig. Not with a Pig but Fuzz Ball the Pony and a new goat "Uno the Unicorn" The last few days of May was playing catch up from being gone half the month. Course it's never boring. Had the school bus back up over a ladies car. She was on her cell and not paying attention to move out of the way so both in the wrong. Kids has great fun watching the drama of 30 kids and 4 cop cars milling about just outside the living room window.
Katana finished her big letters in our "school" sessions. I do like 5 min. once or twice a week. But She can name and sound most of them. 5 or 6 gives her grief but on the fly swatter game when I ask for one she can figure it out by deduction. She can also add and subtract to 5. Axel is doing colors and shapes. He knows half a dozen of each. So proud. A primary picture of our family gave me a giggle. Had to keep it. A couple of random Wedding announcements from people in the ward finished the month.
