JUNE

We had a yard sale. $5 a box.  Really good turn out. After 2 days we hardly had anything to pack up. We had an Honor Jar for when we weren't out there.  We went to dinner Saturday night and when we got back someone had stolen it. Well they couldn't get it off the fence but they broke the lid and stole the money. I was mad and sad for those who were honest. Mace woke up with pinkeye.  Axel ran to get me "Mace has no eyes!!". The next weekend. Syringa and McCarty went to Mom's so of course we did too.  We brought our blowup pool for everyone since we got a stock tank haven't even got it out this year. We pulled the slide toy over and the kids played in it all day.  We went boating for about an hour then the boat just quit.  Thankfully the wind blew us to shore.  Mom was at the docks and decided to come looking.  We had just started walking up the road when she found us.  Huge blessing. Preston arrived all spruced up but we decided to postpone our date night and go swimming at the Borens instead.  The Hot tubs were too hot to swim in. And Mace doesn't especially love the water.  Saturday Preston and I went to the temple and dinner for my belated birthday. Mom and Syringa took the kids to a parade. Grandview is famous for having the most candy at their parades and they don't exaggerate.

We went to Seven Peaks again for Katana and Greg's Birthday.  I can't believe I have a 6 year old.. She is so beautiful, kind, helpful, creative, attentive, independent, spunky.  Timber came down Friday. She got the kids glow-in-the-dark swords and wands. We talked her into staying Saturday also.   Seven Peaks in the morning and fun center later that afternoon.  After church we brought the Procor boys home with us. Greg and Syringa were going on their anniversary getaway to Seven peaks Salt Lake for 3 days. We had so much fun.  They were such good boys. A rule was they had to eat at least 3 bites to earn dessert.   One meal was a struggle for Denali.  His sour face was priceless.  Preston and I were crying laughing.  He did it. The highlight of the week was a huge fire just up the road.  They got to see "real" firefighters and trucks.
