Grandma Dixie was in charge of a S.T.E.M. activity for her school. She helped each kid make slime. She came to our house to practice. Syringa was soooo jealous it worked. I've been trying my hand at bread. I found a super easy recipe online and it worked to. I was surprised. Another Surprise was Grandma Pams' 60th Birthday. We didn't have 60 candles so we put a 321. 3+2+1=6 or 60 :)
Brilliant Mom that I am I made the kids a chore chart. Each task gets a sticker--7 stickers in a row--each row earns a reward or save rows to earn bigger stuff. Works for Preston and I also. Our rewards are different obviously. ;) My Valentines gift to myself from Preston was VIOLET VOLT lipsense. Katana drew me a nice portrait in primary. Katana handed out Princess cards and suckers at school. The boys shared a Spider man box with friends and the mail lady. And All Katana wants for her Birthday is her "tho fronth heeth"

Strike one --Preston has been complaining of stomach pain. He is mildly lactose intolerant but severely suborn so still eats diary. However this was more. Fighting nausea and vomiting and general discomfort he was advised to seek medical help. Insta care--hospital--lab tests and several grand later confirmed.....he has GAS. Technical term was Gastroenteritis. Took Gas X, tums and some anti inflammatory for a week. Oh and doctors orders "lay off the heavy cream"
Strike Two ---(2/24 )went to Sears "going out of business" sale. My dishwasher has been randomly leaking. Flooding my kitchen. Ended up getting a new Fridge too. Love my fridge. freezer on bottom huge door on top. We have ice again-so nice. --the dishwasher doesn't clean. oh well. Main point of the evening...Mace broke his leg . Babies are suppose to be rubber right!! Fell down. just running around; tripped and lay crying in the aisle. I'm thinking it's late; we've been in town; I pack him out, go home, bath, bed. Next day wont walk. whiny. Ask a doctor friend at church. He says better safe than sorry. Monday X-rays confirm 2 inch diagonal hairline fracture just above the ankle In a child that's considered a break cuz their bones are so soft. Saddest thing ever that he can't move around. and doesn't want to. Preston retrofitted his umbrella stroller into a makeshift wheel chair.
