Syringa came out with some good news on CINCO DE MAYO. "Starting Lineup." So excited!
Approaching the end of school I decided it was a good marker to update the kids yearly pictures. It was quite the experience spanning several days to accommodate Maces mood swings and trying to get all 3 looking and smiling. Over 50 shots total were taken. Katana's head shots we took earlier in the year. They are all cuties and it turned out in the end.

10th was field trip / field day. I volunteered as a helper. First was a walking field trip around town. Library, court house and police station. Then back to school for game stations and treats. Also got the cutest Mother's Day card from the cutest little girl ever.
Last day of school (17th) Katana had a little program. They sang some songs, handed out rewards and watched a short slide show of the year. Pictures and snacks and she is officially graduated from Mrs Hall's Kindergarten. * story of little boy. Misael Monjaras and Katana were good friends at the start of school. He is who she would talk about playing with on the playground. One day she came home upset because the other little boys had been making fun of him so he told Katana they couldn't play together because she was a girl. I told her he would regret that decision one day. I was ready to throttle me a 6 year old boy. Thankfully she made friends with a girl named Raven and life moved on.
