Fab Feb

Dan and his boys invited Preston and Axel for a Winter Weekend Camp out. Wrestling, sledding, cocoa and a hidden tent in the mountains. They jumped at the chance for some father son snow adventures.   Katana completed 100 days of school with a dress up day.   Dad discovered patches of river hemlock.  A dozen cows were lost within 2 hours of first contact.  scary business getting it cleaned up.

Happy Valentines Day. Boys have been asking for blanket bags like Mom made Katana a few years ago. I used hers as a pattern to make  rough copies.  They actually turned out OK.  R.S. activity we had tutorials on easy frosting dipped cookies and cake decorating.   We made a mess with the dye but the results are "fancy".  Preston talked me into getting a lipsense sample kit  I found online. I LOVE it. so many colors. so much fun.  I finished a book folding art project I'd been working on as my monthly "self improvement / achievement" news year goal.  In an effort to spend quality one on one time with each kid: Preston set up a special luncheon with Katana for V-day. She was so excited to get all dressed up and be Daddy's date.  Mace was so excited for his turn.  Preston took him to Burger King for an hour.  The kids talked of little else for days.  Fatherhood is so sexy on a man.
