May's Away

Ralayna played Dolly in Minico's Production of Hello Dolly.  She did better than big nose Barbra Streisand in the movie.  Heard from multiple people not in our group that "she was fabulous and made the the show." Friday Katana, Axel and I met up with Mom, Dad, Syringa and Colvin.  My two youngest got to play with cousins at Trujillo's house.  Saturday we had talked about it so much Mace begged to go. Date night.  I didn't mind sitting through it a second time. It really was entertaining.  They casted it perfectly and everyone did a great job.  So glad we live close enough to support my talented niece.

Katana wanted to take soccer and I thought if I was going in anyway I'd put Axel in so long as they were on the same team. They were in different age groups and I didn't want Axel to be with way bigger kids and not get to play or end up hating it.  His age needed a coach so I hesitantly volunteered with full disclosure I'd have to Google my knowledge of soccer.  I conceded because they said I could get with Katanas coach and set practice at the same times.  By the time Katana's coach got her schedule my field was full on those days and the times really didn't work for me.  Oh well its only a 5 week season. I practiced 45 min. after school Monday & Wednesday with games on Saturday.  We called my team "Sharks" and not that we kept score...but we were undefeated.  Even without Allstar JR. I think we still would have won.  Katana while not overly aggressive was able to learn the game, run, make friends and enjoyed the experience.  In the end we all did.

Quick visit to Arco to do some electrical work for Mom and Dad and see Dan and Malena.  The guys decided to take our weenie roast up king mountain.  The approaching storm clouds just added an "Adventure". We finally found Cheebies babies.  Two black beauty's Zara adores.  We made a pen around the tires for our bunnies to eat the grass.  A week later they dug under and escaped. No one was sad enough to be motivated enough to catch them...again.  So we let them go.  They stay around and look healthier than they did  in captivity.  Preston got me new top soil and helped me build garden boxes. #youknowhelovesme  I am ready to plant and excited for this new set up.
