NEF-er enough.

Sorry not sorry for the picture overload and novel about to happen.
June 21-23 Saw us at the Epic NEF FAMILY REUNION this year it was held at the Steadman's Ranch in Raft River. Dixie was in charge this year and she has been in a cold sweat for 2 years planning. Most of the girl/boy scout camp and church facilities quit letting family's come. It's been really hard finding a venue that would accommodate us all. This one was a miracle as they have never allowed over night and extended guests before. Timber knew their daughter from New Mexico and was able to pull a few strings. It ended up being really awesome. Especially considering we have:
8 Original children plus spouses
44 Grandkids 22 boy 22 girls plus spouses
114 Great Grandkids? 4 known coming in 2023 so far and spouses
1 Great Great Grandkid (Arlo)
Steadman's is within 3 hours of over 50% of the entire family. 1 mile off Hwy 86/30. Just 30 mins to a major Town. and had several fun amenities like : UNLIMITED HILL WATERSLIDES and tubes, Volleyball, Cornhole, Children's playland, sand pit, swings, Soccer area, Firepit ,Shade Pine Trees, Covered Pavilion, Limited DRY RV spaces, All grass for Camping
June 21 We had Fried Chicken dinner as people arrived.
June 22 Lunch Walking Tacos and a Roast Beef Dinner.
June 23 Lunch of Deli Sandwiches
Breakfast each day was an informal buffet of Muffins, yogurts, fresh fruit, and granola cereal, fruit and an assortment of healthy-ish snacks were available all day. A Fire with hot dogs and Smores was offered every evening. Thank you to Brenden and his scrap wood supply. Syringa designed rubber wrist bands  with our LOGO. We had a candy canon shooting goodies 3X a day. An epic dance party complete with the limbo, chick dance, YMCA, and several line dances. We had a fabulous lip sync. Mace was brave and sang Pain by Imagine Dragons that he spent hours memorizing by watching the youtube lyrics and writing them down. Yes he knows every word!!! We had a group picture scavenger hunt. 4-wheeler rides. Magic Bubbles. 4-square. gaga ball. The weather held and it was marvelous. Not sure how many more of these we can have but I will treasure everyone.  I love every single one of these people. NEVER ENDING FAMILY FOR SURE!!!

LOL- Syringa sported a hole in her lip, tongue &  cheek, a chipped tooth, broken nose, and black eye after trying to grab a pepper whilst playing a VR cooking game missing the fake table and slamming headlong into her fireplace mantel. 24th- Mcphauls, Proctors and some of Trujillo's bunch came on a river trip to Pillar Falls. Some of the older ones going on to Shoshone Falls. It was a beautiful day and the river is always refreshing. Mcphauls and Proctors headed to Mom and Dad's. I had planned on being done for the week. They were all very persuasive and the kids and I ended up meeting them Monday 26th at the Craters of the Moon.  We had a fun 1/2 day exploring caves and lava rocks. With all the rain this year their was an  historical amount of wild flowers.  The iridescent nature of the lava rock was mesmerizing. You think it's just black.  I found it fascinating to learn about the different looks of lava as it was formed.  Seeing it as a whole you could imagine it's path.  The way it changed and forced the land.  We had a weenie roast and everyone was in bed early.  A trip to Mackay Dam was cut a little short due to a cold snap.  Still loved every minute being together.
