March --Beaver, Baler, Frozen, Easter

 Trujillo found and gave us the copy of our dating questionnaire from when he first met Preston.  It was fun to look over the answers. #32 we now have a double shower head. &  #43. finish argument with women yell or silent treatment..."say yes dear your right" .  LOL you still say that.   "It works."    Grandpa Calvin got back from his cruise to New Zealand. It was a last minute cancelation deal with Aunt Alberta, Uncle Jeff some of their friends and Aunt Clarita as his cabin mate since Mom is held up with her knee surgery. When they came to visit we got to hear all about the real Hobbit Town, the weird food, fun adventures and see all the beautiful scenery pictures and animal life. Katana got a new glow in the dark retainer. Zara says it's really scary at night. One day after dinner the sun was coming in the windows just so as to show a perfect unbroken line of haze.  The kids and I were entranced making silhouettes and magic glowing fingers.  Preston was all "90% of that is probably dead skin!"  Killjoy.  On a sunday walk near the river we found evidence of a beaver. We followed the trail of destruction for some time before stopping to wade in a shallow inlet and gather empty half shells. Quick trip to Boise.  Baler was baptized by his father Brenden Hatfield on the 16th. We were all very proud as Baler is not a big fan of water. 

 Running back from Balers baptism Katana had her weekend Drama Performances. She played a castle staff and member of the Oken family in WHS production of FROZEN.  This was supposed to be the fall play last October.  The spirit of this play was a great tribute to the girls that passed.  Elizabeth Paul is a sister of one of the girls that passed and I believe the driver.  There is a part in the play when Hans yells at Elsa  "Because of you- your sister is DEAD!"  Kringe or gasp worthy. Proctors were up and were able to come one night. Carson and Jamie surprised us the next night.  Carson had a shirt for Preston "Yes I do have a beautiful daughter.  I also have a gun, a shovel and an alibi."   Mace and Katana both got awards from school. We redid our Come Follow Me goal charts.  The kids had fun choosing and creating a Diachronic Photo off the wall. Mace had a dress up day.  He wanted to be a minion but didn't have overalls. We made it work. Sort of. Then Easter. Eggs, Hunt, Candy.  I had to try the new Peeps flavors.  Better than the original but still Nasty. It's springs version of candy corn.  Both just... NO.
