Valentine's Day
I just couldn't narrow it down any more so I kept a few photos from the V-day shoot. I made Katana write her name on her Valentine cards. By the end she was quite proficient. For Christmas Preston got a pull string helicopter. It was a warm nice day so we went out and flew it. It actually goes really high and fly's pretty good.

Dan's
Dan invited Preston to go snow machining. The kids and I tagged along to Moore for a day with cousins. Malena and I were starved for adult conversation as well. Their hot tub was a huge hit. Its the best to be in hot water surrounded by white snow. Of course the kids had a blast in the snow also. We don't get snow in Wendell. All in all Dad had fun and so did we. (Thanks Dan for the pictures. I guess you know how much I love blogging)

Blessing
Proctors and Mcphauls came 2 days early to visit and play. I probably have the mildest weather of all my siblings so we were able to kick the kids outside. Besides catching up there was movies, games and a 3 hour trip to Miracle hot springs. It's funny that the younger kids are more into Mace then say Katana and older. Colvin - Holden they just loved the baby.
Trujillo's Family surprised everyone by making a 24 hour run for the Blessing. Carty is absolutely glowing at 36 weeks. It was so nice to see everyone. We felt very loved and supported.
Mace Mcky Kelly was blessed by his father Preston Reed Kelly Feb 7th at 9am in the Wendell 1st ward sacrament meeting. He was surrounded by the priesthood. Trujillo Amy, Ace McPhaul, Greg Proctor, Brenden Hatfield, Calvin Amy, Marc Kelly, JD Kelly, Dan Kelly. I love this little man. He is already a huge part of our family. I am so greatful to be a mother and wife. I love my life.

I can't believe it.
Preston's high school shop teacher, and mentor passed away from cancer the the 30th of December. His funeral was held in Moore on the 4th of January. We made a weekend trip to the Kelly's. Kylin and Hattie were visiting and there were 2 foot drifts. Not sure which was more fun.
I can't believe Mace is a month old. It seems like he's always been a part of the family. He's almost outgrown the sink (for baths) . Second thing I can't believe is I've been married 7 years. Crazy. We were a week late celebrating cuz Preston was on call. Mom and Dad watched the kids while we were in Boise. The Temple, late lunch at Tucanos Brazilian Grill and the new star wars. Preston was so excited for me to finally see it so he could talk about it. " I've waited a month to hear that gasp." AHHH I can't believe they killed him!!!
For a few days after we got home Katana was a little turd every time I had to feed Mace. Finally I figured it out. She wanted to. I'd pumped for Grandma. Maces first bottles. So I made one for his next feeding and let her help. Problem solved.
