Route 66

Preston got a day off due to bad weather so we went to the Route 66 Museum.

You could sit in these old cars and pretend to drive or watch old movie clips like you were at the drive-in.   The BLOB, The SWAMP THING, & ALIGATOR MAN.

I liked the old kitchen and beauty part.
Can you believe someone would willingly be hooked up to that thing in the sack of good looks?

Can’t tell if these are modern art or mildly macabre
Hair Wreath—hair weaving was a popular craft in the Victorian era.  It involved weaving hair of family members into wreaths or jewelry.  Wreaths were often made as memorials to the deceased relatives.

Preston was like a little kid crawling around in all the exhibits.
Katana made for a good excuse too.  Ropes / Barricades mean nothing when you’re so cute

Dad asked when Katana would be BIG enough to drive?
Mom said "Never" Dad said "NOW"

By the end of the tour I was very thankful for our present day tools.  Much easier.    Also Thankful for Preston and Katana.  They keep life Interesting
