5/5 Andy Jensen graduated from ISU and we got together at
the Nefs. It’s fun to see these guys with their babies.
Especially when it’s Dad & Daughter.

Preston has been working with Uncle Guy in Arco on a new
build. I like to be able to see him at
work.
When I was in Utah Preston knocked out the wall to the porch and made my
living room bigger plus got new windows.
5/12 move cows to hills.
We had a few wobbles. A couple
calves got away, the bulls were fighting and one headed for home. They had to hike all over the mountain chasing
calves off, chasing the bull back up the
canyon, all the while try to keep the rest of the cows and calves
together. It was hectic. All us girls had the kids in Malena’s Van. When the Boys finally came together totally
pissed at the cows, each other and life in general-- it got a little heated-- No
one in our party was breathing but the guy in the car behind us was totally
cracking up. In the End we got it all
worked out and finished the day with a picnic and apologies.

5/13 My first official Mothers Day. Got a tomato plant from church And lots of love from the fam. I’m so glad my baby is here, growing healthy and strong. Katana is such a joy in our home. I love her to bits. I'm excited to teach her to be Strong & Tough but still a lady. I am so proud to be her Mommy.
5/ 18-19 Had a yard
sale--Spring Cleaning. It was over casted Friday so it didn’t
do so well. Saturday Preston burned the
weed pile so we can make a garden spot.
5/22 Brenden works for a Green house that delivers to
Broulims in Idaho. On his last run I met
him for a few min. to say Hello. It was nice cuz I get Homesick.
Later that
day we got a call that Grandma Darlene (Marc’s mother) wasn’t doing well. She went
in like a month ago for a bowel obstruction and hasn’t recovered. The doctor
said the surgery she needs would never work cuz her insides are like working
with wet toilet paper. We all gathered at the hospital to say our goodbyes. The miracle was she woke up for us and was alert all day. We
all got to visit with her and spent a few hours with family.
I finally got to meet Carson’s Nichole. Funny story: when I was gone to Utah Carson took Preston's truck on a date. Preston had left his wallet on the dash and as a joke like “ha ha we used your money to pay for our date” they left a receipt with a note in the truck. So then one day I was cleaning the bedroom and found the dinner receipt with a note written in the corner: “thanks for a wonderful dinner /love Nichole.” I just knew it was a 'blond hair on the pillow' moment. But once we got it all straighten out it’s even funnier.

5/25- Katana finally got the courage to let go of the
couch. She has been walking with fingers
or her push walker for like a month. Then
one day she just walked across the living room. Next day across the kitchen. Then
anywhere she wants. She likes to say
Ahhh after a big drink. Poke you in the
eyes and say EYEs. Call people and talk on the phone HI HI HI. She is starting to notice her environment like
the sacrament trays, and to fold her arms if we do, how to blow kisses to daddy
and help mom by take things out of the dish washer, laundry machine and
garbage. She can go up & down stairs without help (i still watch close) Loves water and being outside.
5/28 got my garden
in, planted a few lilac and rose bushes and enjoyed a beautiful day with a
photo shoot of Katana.
