Amy Christmas

Mom and Dad had worked hard to have the house full of holiday cheer--ready for a fun filled weekend.

The food as always was delicious.  Mom had a whole menu planned.  We had Succulent butter based grilled Alaskan Salmon--Sweet pork Salad--Brown sugar crusted ham--a huge bacon, sausage, sour dough waffle breakfast made to order and a 24 hour hot Choco Bar.  Not to mention all the oranges,  candy, dips, and treats that were free for all.

Spending time with my family is the best part.  Katana loves her cousins--loves the attention.  With so many friends and fun things to do it's hard to come home.  So we try and cram as many games, thrills and good discussions in as we can.

Not all of us were staying for actual Christmas so we held an early Christmas on Saturday the 22nd to open each others gifts and parent / grandkid gifts . McCarty worked so hard to find Mom's gift.  A photo print Grandpa Dwayne bought some 30 years ago. Cart found a new print and had it framed.  It looks so good. Mom loved it.  I had Brenden's name--I've since heard he liked my gift too.  he he he The whole weekend was  over too fast.  I love spending time with everyone.  I love the crazy. Thanks Mom and Dad for having us.  For spoiling us with good food and love. You really are the greatest.

23rd--After Church but before nap time (mistake?)  Brother Chamberlian came and took family pictures for us.  They turned out really good.  I love how individual we are.  Even Katana and Denali as young as they are have shining personalities.

Sunday evening Steve and Cyndi Gilbert invited us all to there house for a little Christmas Cheer.  Santa flew in (literally) special to answer questions about Christmas, the north pole  reindeer, elf's  anything.  The kids hardly dared to breath they were so in awe.
Abe was afraid his shirt would give him away so Santa did a scan on him.   Turns out he WAS framed cuz it came up NICE.  Preston on the other hand read NAUGHTY.  Santa also came barring gifts. It was really neat.  Even Katana sat on his knee.   A Big thanks to the Gilbert's for these Christmas memories.
