Ok so I didn't blog about Father's day cuz nothing really happened. I did make Preston a new pillow case cover cuz his last one was A-in rages and B-made by a former girlfriend. So it needed retired. I want to say Preston is an awesome Dad. Katana really loves him. He's the first person she asks for in the morning, she waits by the door for him to come home, loves rough housing with him then insists on a bedtime story. ( I don't do the voices like he does.) In short--great Dad, Provider, Protector, Husband, Helper and Lover.
Which brings me to my next story. A Few weeks ago I was trying to act sexy at 7 months pregnant so I put on this big necklace and go to Preston "I want you to draw me wearing this...Wearing only this...." Grabing a pen and paper he hurries to scribbles out my portrait. Lets just say all he got was a good glare.
I am friends on facebook with Jonathan Graham. Elder Graham Cracker served in Vale, Oregon when we lived there and was one of the sets of missionaries my family got really close to. When he posted these photos I couldn't stop laughing. We all look so goofy. I'm thinking it must have been past curfew cuz Carts out and I look stoned. I share these for Posterity Sake.
Katana got her first hair cut. Just bangs really. She was being "difficult" so I may have gotten them a bit shorter then intended but at least they are not in her face anymore.
Her new found love is DIRT. She plays on the side hill in the weeds for hours. She is tall / strong enough to open the sliding door if left open a crack and can put her little flip flops on by herself so now she can come and go as she likes. And we've learned that if we can't get her worn out just by playing or running in the sprinklers a chocolate dipped banana snack will almost always induce an instant sugar coma.
Stopped at the Kelly's on the way home from working on the Firth house. Just happened that all the cousins were there on the same day. Grandma filled up the "swimming pool" and Grandpa shared his Schwan's push pops. It was Great fun.
