My little boy is growing. He's almost as heavy as his sister (his role model.) They love being outside and are both very active. Look at that monkey! Axel is a Happy Happy baby. Even when he's sick he tries to be brave and happy. You can see it in his eyes and that he lets you snuggle more. He got 4 Teeth in the month of August. poor baby.
Katana loves taking pictures-- most of them are fuzzy or of her finger, foot, the ceiling. She'll pop off 20 and get 2 good ones. Axel is her favorite subject. He is so used to the camera he smiles on demand and sometimes says "Eeeeeee". He has started folding his arms for prayers. One arm head bowed or palms flat on the chest. So proud.
It's so hard when they get mobile.He likes to wear shoes on this hands while crawling around . Also starting to pull himself up on stuff. Walks all over holding your fingers. Mastered Climbing. The first obstacle he tried was the table. Almost scared me when I looked over to see the baby's just sit'n on the table. He climbs on the toilet too. It's narrow and slick- he has a hard time getting down. Must have screamed for 5 min. before I found him the first time. Silly Boy. He's also a big "help" with dishes. I have to be mindful of my cutlery placement.
Katana helped bake the cake. Better than kisses. yum. I told her it would be ready after their naps. I'm folding clothes in the back room about an hour later and hear a noise from the kitchen. They woke up, came to the kitchen, found the cooled cake, got on the table and proceeded to eat it. I was going to be mad but they were so excited and she said,"I got you a spoon too" We made it work. Went Swimming with Grandma and Grandpa Kelly to 1000 springs. Got Pizza, Opened Presents and ate our construction cake. Happy First Birthday Bud.
