Pintrest helped us get crafty with our crayons. Melting like colors down to make bigger/thicker crayons. getting the paper off was a pain in the butt but it was worth it in the end. it took a few seconds for Little Miss Sunshine to warm to the idea of taking broken ones and creating new ones...they are actually much easier to handle.
Speaking of sunshine Katana learned the song
"you are my sunshine" (shun-shine) and it's super adorable.
Rhett turned 2. We had a party with a farm yard cake, cousin time and then went swimming at miracle hot springs, then back to Brooks for a late night game night.
I love auctions, yard sales, storage wars, bargain hunter am I. Our latest fix was a Masters Auction in Gooding. Got this Truck load for less then $100. Got big screen , 3 couches, 2 end tables, coffee table, computer desk, changing table, head board, twin bed, rocker, bike attachments, stools, several paintings. and miscellaneous boxes. Here's the fun part kicker was we didn't have any tie downs or straps. had to drive 5 miles across town VERY CAREFULLY and spent another $100 to get it home properly secure.
Kids are good at destruction of house and property and MY NERVES. They also like to help with construction especially when it involves getting to go in the crawl space or attic. baths are mandatory after that. recently they have enjoyed Showers. I love the faces. They drive me crazy but I love my kiddos.
