Time to bring the cows home. Came up the night before to stay in "the little house in the big woods" Axel's never been up and I hadn't seen all the cute improvements, windows, curtains, loft, beds, stove... Cozy Cottage.
The next day I opted to stay at the cabin. Most of the kids eventually joined. They spent the morning building a fort nearby. Historically what is one of the coldest, drug out days of the year accompanied by a few blow ups, break downs and cuss'n;... this time was rather pleasant. Warm enough to shed our jackets we were done by a reasonable lunch time. And between all of us we only blew 5 tires com'n or go'n but that's a Kelly Cattle Caravan for ya.
