Summers End

 BOYS OF FALL---Brody's football team was playing in Twin so we hooked up with Mom, Dad and the Nefs to cheer him on. It brought back some positive memories from High School.  Something that doesn't happen very often.  It was Homecoming for the Other team and even with bias refs and bad calls we still won. YEAH!! The kids got to go home with Grandma and Grandpa. They went out on the boat with the Nefs. Probably the last run of the year.   Preston and I came the next day to pick up his truck.

Summer and Fall are competing for a spot in the weather. We decided to take advantage of what may be the last warm weekend. As promised on a Monday of that week... and Tuesday ... Wednesday...Thursday...That Friday they slept on the tramp.  Saturday a drive and hike in the canyon was just what the Doctor ordered. We found a perfect swinging tree over the water. Preston had a toe strap in the truck.  The tree held for most of us.... Preston may have gotten a little wet.  Katana loves the "jump"game. (Adventures.) So Dad time was Connecting via the Kinect.
