Mace and Snow

My man Mace is numero UNO.  Can't believe how fast it went. We just love this little guy. He is full of smiles. Seriously brightens the room and your heart. He has 8 teeth.  Crawls and explores everything.  Walks with assistance. Claps his hands and blows kisses. Sucks from a straw.  Sleeps 8 hours at night. Chases the Vacuum and the Cat.  Hates baths but loves the toilet water.  And food is very important to this chubby baby.  Don't you just want to kiss those cheeks!

Twin Falls Prince and Princess Christmas kickoff party.  A room full of actives: fishing, crown craft, write Santa a letter from the Post Office, adopt a stuffed animal from the shelter, princess pancake breakfast, picture with Santa, cookies with Mrs. Clause and talk with firemen, EMT's and police officers.   (funny; Brooke and I only made it to the last 30 min. practically running threw the booths because we spent the previous 90 minutes chasing 2 ewes and a buck that got out just before they were headed to the sale. Literally car chasing around the block in and out of 4 lanes of traffic and jumping fences in dresses. We'll know better next year.)

Major life event KATANA'S FIRST TOOTH. 12-13 Actually she had one removed  at the beginning of the month by the dentist but this was her first official floss-pulled one. The picture looks tragic but it literally fell out while I was putting the string on. The drama can be categorized more as "separation issues" than Pain.

A Perfectly magical   Christmas gathering by my Relief Society themed "The Polar Express" experience.  A conductor greeted you at the door with your ticket.  Tracks lead to dinning cars with trains and cute decor.  After a light meal we had the story read and projected on a screen.  At the appropriate place the Young Women came out to do a dance and serve Hot Chocolate. Truly  Magical, Well attended, Well done.  I simply love this time of year.

Syringa and the Boys stopped on their way to Mom's.  We had a hayday in the snow.  Equal parts getting dressed as actual snow time but memories none the less.  Our new 4-wheeler's primary purpose thus far has been pulling a sled.  From the smiles we get... well worth it. She stayed overnight to babysit while we attended Freedom's company party. My drink tickets did not go to waste this year as it was catered at a Mexican restaurant with virgin daiquiris, hot cocoa and horchata. Preston won a small welder he traded with his drunk co-worker for a 3 burner range and $200. Axel's last Sunday in Nursery was bitter sweet for me.  Sounding a bit repetitive -I can't believe my Axel man is growing up so fast.
