Any trip to town in October has Grounds for dressing up. Usually I was accompanied by a gang of Superheros. We went to a new Pumpkin patch in Jerome. PUNKYNLand. Free bounce house, straw maze and petting zoo. We got creative with our Jack-0-Lanterns. Katana wanted scary. Axel wanted a zombie and Mace just wanted "mine".
Katana's class had a Halloween party. Only Kindergarten got to dress up and there was not parade or anything. The Party was 4 centers with little games or treats. It was 20 min at the end of the day but the kids had fun. That night we got dressed up for the ward Trunk-or-Treat. We took are little horse trailer with some sheets tied up like a haunted house. Not really scary since it was still light out. Preston banged on the walls to frighten them and it was still a hit. Then we took the 4-wheeler and trailer around town. The kids didn't get tired since we didn't walk and we hit several more houses. Great Haul. 4-5 normal size candy bars, play dough and pencils plus 3 very full buckets of candy. We went as Beauty and the Beast and Nailed IT.
