A 4th to Remember

I seriously look forward to this weekend for the whole year.  It's the Kelly Girl Yard Sale Weekend. Easy conversation, Deep Discussion, lighthearted joking and lots of laughter.    So excited to include our newest member. Jamie.  We met Thursday 6-28 for dinner, mini golf, and go carts. Friday we had a list of addresses, GPS and 3 smart phones to guide us to endless sales and great deals.  We got our traditional pedicures and back in the motel gave Jamie a make over.  Hair, curls and Lipsense.  Saturday came all too soon. In fact I stretched it to Sunday afternoon and crashed at Echos.

The year Katana was born we went to the Hills to watch the fireworks for the 4th.  The next year Preston promised to go to Melaleuca freedom celebration but we ended up moving. 6 years later come Hell or High water we were going.  Turns out we hit both.  Going threw Arco we met up with JD and Family who were taking a "nice quick hike" to the Natural Arch near Arco.  First you walk in knee high grassland at a 20% grade.  Then you hit the Stairway to Hell.  Some 300 steps straight up.  They end just shy of the arch and you have to navigate a rock slide, sheer cliffs and loose soil to get under it.  Breath taking view and no way down.  Up again and  UP  some more and around and down, and I'm not proud of the fact I complained louder then my crying 2 year old.  "WHAT AN ADVENTURE."  Oh but it's not over.   On the rough terrain out we got a flat.  Put the spare on and it went flat.  Tried to limp in on it but half way there the tire fell O_F_F!  Rims and tire are toast.  Being 6 ish on the 4th holiday nothing could be found.  Thankfully  Dan use to have a van with our same size  tires and had a set of snow tires we were able to borrow add a few lug nuts off Carsons car and WaLa.   Dirty, tired and miss matched   We did eventually make it to I.F.   We found the Kelly Klan and watched an amazing aerial display in the new location at Snake River Landing.  AHHH MEMORIES MADE.
