Mom and Dad's house is slowly but surely coming along. We've been to Arco a few times this summer to help with wiring and it's always a fun surprise to see what's new. This week it's obvious. THE ROOF. The kids were dying to get on and help out. Grandma couldn't watch. Admittedly Zara made me a little nervous- she has no fear. Aunt Juanita come with her rock paints for a craft project for the kids. Messy but a much needed distraction for all our "helpers" A miracle calm day. Always a blessing to get something like this done.
So I cut my hair again. The night before the family reunion... probably not the best time to try a new do. I had a hat all day and we were kind of roughing it with no facilities or water. My view in the morning was OH $h!t what did I do. Once I got home and played with it I ended up LOVING it. It was exactly what a wanted. Above mentioned....AMY O'Maley Family Reunion was in Mackay Idaho. Beautiful scenery. Corn hole. (I am so bad). Kid softball. Mom brought Snow cones--huge hit. Missed the Kelly's get together for Uncle Erve. Probably the last time we'll get together with him. Still grateful we went to the Amy one as it would be the last time we saw my Grandfather.
