Jolly July

 Fourth of July was fun all week long.   Preston got a "Happy Friday" Gift -- A-Salt Gun.  Mace got upset at Axel for "Killing all the flies"  I'm really glad I got a 5 gallon bucket of salt from Cart when they moved from Nampa....Actually not sure we have enough.   There was a parade in Buhl.  Loads of candy.  Then Booths at the park.  Petting zoo.  I couldn't hardly get close enough to the snake to take a picture.   Invited Brooke out for Italian sodas.  Wendell had bounce houses, hotdogs and a live band before the fireworks. (EllieMae born in Southern Idaho and was on team Blake for the 2019 THE VOICE. )  

Summer you run till you drop then get up and run some more.  Niagara is so beautiful.  The water is crystal clear and freezing cold.  A quick swim and jump off the docks is perfect for hot days.   When we can the kids love getting lunch at the park and if we remember spend a few minuets at the skate park or splash pad.   Kids pretty much manned the yard sale this year. it was a good help to me and good practice at money and people skills for them.  They found a baby bird which I let them hold for a few hours then fed it to the cat. They were totally pissed at me. it took some effort to explain the circle of life.  Mace needed reassured I wasn't going to feed him to the cat.   My childhood friend Tamara Bates married a guy from Burley Rocky Vickers.  They were sealed in Twin falls and I was invited to attend. It was the first time since Corona that I've been back to the temple. it was amazing and beautiful and calming.  several people from Toquerville were there. it was a blast from the past for sure. The whole family attended the reception.   I'm so happy shes happy. 

Its been a year of Big Bills, Big purchases and Big projects.   The Roof.  Not sure I ever got finished pictures as it snowed right after. The insurance was a pain about all the "stuff" around the base.  At Auction we bought a grainery.  That was "fun" getting home. Good thing it was only on the other side of Wendell as we drove 5 miles all the way home. Took forever.  Also got a new well pump.  Much needed.  Probably overdue.  Thankfully it broke off just after they pulled it up.  Preston had just had 2 weeks of heavy overtime that pretty much covered the bill.  Blessing.  At auction he also won his dream fixer car a 1966 Mustang. Blessing.  After 6 months of bureaucracy I had a colonoscopy.  They were able to find and remove a small precancerous tumor.  Blessing.
