9 MONTHS AND COUNTING

It’s the final Count down…..   I’m not sure how long it will be before I will get back to bloging, so I want to do a quick recap of what has developed in the last 9 months so we’re all prepared for my exciting highly anticipated “OUR NEW ARRIVAL” blurp.
Remember being told that “kisses made babies”  well it’s true, or at least it was for us.  One week after we stopped preventing we prevailed.   So it was planned just not so soon.  Either way we were super excited.   I took after my mother and was ‘praying to the porcelain god’ the next day  and for the next 4 months thereafter

The first Doctor appointment was super exciting yet intimidating.  Does anyone know why they need to use a gallon of cold gel for an external sonogram?
The Baby was very active and they gave us tons of pictures.  I know- I know- only mother and Doctor can really see what’s going on in an ultrasound picture.    But seriously mine are really clear.   You can totally see its little hand, and long eye lashes, and Ohhh it has Preston’s dimples

I am a super excited first-time-mother-to-be
and was put off when people couldn't see my baby bump at 3 months & 2 days.

The only clue I was pregnant was my eating habits.   Pickles & ice cream, popcorn & ranch, cantaloupe cravings in December and NO CEREAL (hot or cold), NO RICE & NO COOKING MEAT.
I Kind of Like having a built in table though.

At 6 months I’m showing.    I looked forward to getting big.   I wear the tightest maternity shirts I can find.  I like people asking me.  “When is the baby due?”

Preston tried to get me to do the Brian Reagan  ”what baby” joke, but I was to eager to answer.

I’m kind of bummed out when the stretch marks apprear at 71/2 months, but try to be positive by telling Preston “Look honey our baby is writing her name on my tummy.”  His reply of “What in Barcode” was less then appreciated especially with these stupid over stimulated emotions. I cry Hysterically, watching star trek and certain episodes of Flashpoint.
Ahh How do you explain birth to Children?  I’m visiting with my 5yro cousin Bridger at a family event.  “Hey you still got a baby in there”   ‘Yes I do’  “Well when are you going to burp it out” ‘Burp it out!?’  “Ya your tummy to your chest to your mouth and blah out.”  “Bridger babies come the other way”  What? “The other way. There is a special place down there and you kind of poop them out”  “Oh…that’s weird.”     Uncle Evan said he’ll work on getting their goats breed this spring for educational purposes.

Fun Fun Showers
#1 My last day at the potato plant my co-workers all took a break at the same time to eat ice-cream cake and open gifts.  I really liked the ladies I worked with.

#2 Pam is Amazing! She can really throw a good shin-dig.
There were a ton of People, plenty of food, and loads of fun.

#3 My sisters hosted a shower for me when we were together at Mom’s house for cart’s graduation with awesome gifts and intimate advice.   During this photo with Sister-in-law Charlotte our babies Said Hello.   That was interesting.  Our babies will be about 4 months apart.  Fun Cousins!!

The last month introduces an increasingly uncomfortably tight tummy, overactive bladder, aggressive baby who loves to kick ribs and the loss of one's feet.

Preston was kind enough to do a few Prego Pictures with me.
I even talked him in to doing some really elegant Adam & Eve style ones.
However I’m being ban from showing  those.  I know your all disappointed
STAY TUNED...
THE BEST IS YET TO COME
