I can’t believe our Katana is already a month old.
Time moves “slowly fast”. Each day seems to drag on but then POOF it’s been a whole month. I get to rambling about future events and it makes me crazy. Of course Preston is always there with supportive comments.
Oh she’s changing every day. I won’t remember what she looks like. She’s 2 weeks old already….crying…. and then 2 years…more crying…. and then 20.
Gees Hun it’s not like she’s getting married tomorrow.
OR
Gees Hun it’s not like she’s getting married tomorrow.
OR
Preston she’s getting so old. Look she can almost roll over. Next thing she’ll be going to kindergarten then to stake dances and high school and collage and married and then she’ll leave and have babies of her own and then I’ll be a grandma and old and die…
Ok now your just being ridiculous
We have had lots of visitors and support from family. I love showing off my beautiful baby.
Darlin Loved the baby-- especially since she gave her "kisses"
(Katana was actually trying to suck Darlin's face off but Eh Tomato/ Tamato) Preston Loves roughhousing with the kids. He can't wait till Katana's a little older and he can "do more than look at her"
Greg had a few papers due when he got home and used "getting to hold the baby" as motivation to get them done.
Love my Baby, Love my Moby Wrap, Love Syringa and the Awesome Glitter Toes she gave me
Katana is such a good-tempered baby. We are definitely getting spoiled as parents. She hardly ever cries. Normally it’s like an aggressive whimper. She loves her beauty rest. She goes 5 or 6 hours at night. And my baby loves to soak in the bathtub. When she gets comfortable in the water and relaxes she starts tooting. I just think it’s hilarious to see the little baby fart bubbles. Having a baby changes people. For instance when Preston and I argue now we do it in whispers or lullaby tones. And I've noticed our vocabulary has changed to where everything seems to have a “W” in it or ends with an “E” sound
I love being a Mommy. Feeling that Unconditional love…oh you threw up on my new shirt---that’s ok. Oh you kept me up all night---no big deal. Oh you pooped on me, the couch, and your 3rd outfit of the day----I love you.
Katana enjoys spending time with her Dad. Preston enjoys the cool basement. We set her down for a sec. and she started kicking her leg just right that it actually drove the car on the video game.
AND Summer has FINALLY come to Idaho...
With the warm weather comes Picnics (first family outing to the W)--Dips in the river-- Scenic drives to the hills (this is the hole for the base of the windmills they are building on the place)-- And progress on yard and garden.
YUP Life is good.
Now say it with me...."Awwwwhhhhh"
